To resolve this condition, replace only the VCT solenoid(s) associated with the DTCs present. If the condition persists after VCT solenoid replacement, continue with normal Powertrain Controls and Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual diagnostics for any DTCs, and/or follow engine NVH diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-00.
