This concern may be caused by refraction and/or diffraction of the signal used for the advanced keyless entry system by the steel reinforcement bars in the concrete walls. As a result, the signal will resemble a theft attempt (known as a Relay Attack) and the anti-theft function of the advanced keyless entry system will prohibit door lock operation.
