For vehicles equipped with an auxiliary fuel delivery source, the customer may also experience the inability to deliver fuel using this equipment. This may be due to dirt being trapped around the dust cap on the front or rear rollover valve (ROV) preventing \"make-up air\" from entering the fuel tank. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the fuel tank and possibly also the fuel pump/sender unit.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10174401-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10174401-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10174401","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null},{"id":"fuel-system","name":"Fuel system","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"F-250 SD","year_from":2017,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2017_ford_f-250","2018_ford_f-250","2019_ford_f-250"]},{"make":"FORD","model":"F-350 SD","year_from":2017,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2017_ford_f-350","2018_ford_f-350","2019_ford_f-350"]},{"make":"FORD","model":"F-450 SD","year_from":2017,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2017_ford_f-450","2018_ford_f-450","2019_ford_f-450"]},{"make":"FORD","model":"F-550 SD","year_from":2017,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2017_ford_f-550","2018_ford_f-550","2019_ford_f-550"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
