This may be caused by an in range failure of the brake pedal pressure transducer (7920) that does not set a diagnostic trouble code (DTC). The Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) can be used to view the WHEEL TRQ RAW PID in the generic function module (GFM). It displays the voltage value of the brake pedal pressure transducer. The voltage should be between 0.35 volts and 0.65 volts with the brakes released and will increase with brake pedal pressure. An inoperative transducer will not change with brake pedal pressure. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 206-08 for the location of the brake pedal pressure transducer.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10170924-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10170924-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10170924","components":[{"id":"brakes","name":"Brakes","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"F-650 SD","year_from":2016,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2016_ford_f-650","2017_ford_f-650","2018_ford_f-650","2019_ford_f-650"]},{"make":"FORD","model":"F-750 SD","year_from":2016,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2016_ford_f-750","2017_ford_f-750","2018_ford_f-750","2019_ford_f-750"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
