Van Hool has been reported about safety belt problems on vehicles with Van Hool 20G laterally adjustable passenger seats. The problem has been described as \"Safety belt of laterally adjustable seat blocks when seat has been slid back in.\" Investigation has shown that this is due to the installation of ordinary hexagon screws instead of low profile screws for the fixation of the buckle and end bracket at the seat frame center. This has a consequence that the clearance between the in-line mounted screws is too small causing blocking of the safety belt. Using low profiescrews will increase this clearance and eliminate this problem.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10170882-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10170882-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10170882","components":[{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null},{"id":"seat-belts","name":"Seat belts","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"VAN HOOL","model":"TDX25","year_from":null,"year_to":null,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
