Reinstating the basic settings via the initialisation process will resolve the issue short term. The software introduced at B level will avoid failures of this nature. Measure: In the event of an iPad table failing to open or close, then carry out the initialisation process. If this enables the function then the part number of the iPad control module should be checked. iPad table control modules found to be A level (3Y5963271A) must be replaced with parts at B level or higher (3Y5963271B). If on the occurrence of the above failure it is confirmed that B level parts are already fitted then raise a DISS request with your TSC Note on completion of this TPI both iPad table control module should be fitted with part number 3Y5963271B or higher","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/MC-10170213-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2014/MC-10170213-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10170213","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"BENTLEY","model":"MULSANNE","year_from":2014,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2014_bentley_mulsanne","2015_bentley_mulsanne"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
