Blue smoke may also be present from the exhaust only after a hot restart. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the cylinder heads.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10169890-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10169890-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10169890","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null}],"codes":["P0300","P0301","P0302","P0303","P0304","P0305","P0306","P0316","P0524","P06DD"],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"F-150","year_from":2016,"year_to":2017,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2016_ford_f-150","2017_ford_f-150"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
