A loose intermediate guide may produce a metal to metal sound while allowing the seatbelt webbing to retract or while driving, as the intermediate guide contacts the seatbelt assembly webbing guide at the bottom of the B-Pillar. It is unlikely that the loose intermediate guide would affect the proper operation of the seatbelt assembly.
