The customer communication requested return of unsold inventory to inspect for the shape of the centerpiece of the tire hoist being round when it should be square. If the centerpiece is the incorrect shape then the tire hoist cannot be operated with the OE tools, and the end user would therefore not be able to lower the spare tire with the vehicles original tools.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10165334-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10165334-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10165334","components":[{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"CHEVROLET","model":"SILVERADO 1500","year_from":2003,"year_to":2007,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2003_chevrolet_silverado","2004_chevrolet_silverado","2005_chevrolet_silverado","2006_chevrolet_silverado","2007_chevrolet_silverado"]},{"make":"CHEVROLET","model":"SILVERADO 2500","year_from":2011,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2011_chevrolet_silverado","2012_chevrolet_silverado","2013_chevrolet_silverado","2014_chevrolet_silverado","2015_chevrolet_silverado","2016_chevrolet_silverado","2017_chevrolet_silverado","2018_chevrolet_silverado","2019_chevrolet_silverado"]},{"make":"CHEVROLET","model":"SILVERADO 3500","year_from":2011,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2011_chevrolet_silverado","2012_chevrolet_silverado","2013_chevrolet_silverado","2014_chevrolet_silverado","2015_chevrolet_silverado","2016_chevrolet_silverado","2017_chevrolet_silverado","2018_chevrolet_silverado","2019_chevrolet_silverado"]},{"make":"GMC","model":"SIERRA 1500","year_from":2003,"year_to":2003,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2003_gmc_sierra"]},{"make":"GMC","model":"SIERRA 1500","year_from":2005,"year_to":2007,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2005_gmc_sierra","2006_gmc_sierra","2007_gmc_sierra"]},{"make":"GMC","model":"SIERRA 2500","year_from":2011,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2011_gmc_sierra","2012_gmc_sierra","2013_gmc_sierra","2014_gmc_sierra","2015_gmc_sierra","2016_gmc_sierra","2017_gmc_sierra","2018_gmc_sierra","2019_gmc_sierra"]},{"make":"GMC","model":"SIERRA 3500","year_from":2011,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2011_gmc_sierra","2012_gmc_sierra","2013_gmc_sierra","2014_gmc_sierra","2015_gmc_sierra","2016_gmc_sierra","2017_gmc_sierra","2018_gmc_sierra","2019_gmc_sierra"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
