Brake pedal kickback: In some cases, the brake pedal may be depressed beyond the operational limit which will create scars on the end of the plunger inside the booster. The scars cause the oil passage to narrow, resulting in unbalanced pressure. The unbalanced pressure causes a kickback sensation to occur.
