The units also meet current stability standards when set up with the chassis on a front-to-rear slope of up to 8 degrees. Altec has discontinued the previously allowable front-to-rear setup on slopes between 5 and 8 degrees based on customer feedback and to increase the margins of stability. Beginning with September 2018 production, the slope indicators and serial number plates are labeled to limit the allowable front to-rear-slope to 5 degrees. Altec is offering kits to owners of older units who want to update the unit to operate with theincreased margin of stability as on the new LR760E70 units.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10153908-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10153908-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10153908","components":[{"id":"driver-assistance","name":"Driver assistance","parent":null},{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"ALTEC","model":"ALTEC","year_from":null,"year_to":null,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
