Intermittently, different speakers may be inoperative during an entire drive cycle until the vehicle enters sleep mode and the vehicle is restarted. CAUSE Shut-down of output circuit(s) from pressure variations caused by door shutting during diagnostic self-test. After unlocking the vehicle the Harman/Kardon (HK) Amplifier goes into a speaker self-test mode. If a door is slammed during this self-test vibrating the speaker cone, the HK amplifier may interpret the changing resistance of the speaker as a circuit failure.
