Special Customer Campaign Mailing. As introduced at the National Dealer Meeting and Aftersales Conference in October, BMW Motorrad USA is pleased to announce a special customer mailing program for all dealers. A special campaign has been launched to contact customers who currently have open recalls or technical campaigns on their motorcycles. Through DPS, on behalf of your dealership, BMW Motorrad USA will be contacting these customers through a special mailing (shown below). The mailing will list the open campaigns on record for that VIN with a ?call to action? asking the customer to contact their dealer to have these free campaigns or recalls completed. Through your DMS feed to DPS in the normal Rider Connect program, the customer information will be matched to your dealer to personalize the mailing with your dealer name, address, contact information and business hours. VINs of motorcycles that are not found in the DPS rider connect data base will be assumed customers of dealers not using rider connect. For these few, these customers will be matched to the nearest dealer by zip code. Additionally in support of these cases, the message on the card will indicate that the open campaigns are repaired free of charge at your authorized BMW Motorcycle dealer.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10147897-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10147897-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10147897","components":[{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment
