The symptom can be temporarily repaired using the AT initial learning procedure, but may recur after multiple driving cycles. Applicable situations: Shifting up: 2-3 or 4-5 Shifting down: 4-3 or 6-5 NOTE: Shifting from 2-3 or 4-3 is more likely to be felt due to the gear ratio. Shifting into Reverse: D-R, N-R or P-R Improper control logic of the TCM may cause improper learning of R-3-5 brake engaging speed when the vehicle is driven at high elevations. To correct this issue, the control logic of the TCM has been modified.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10136779-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10136779-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10136779","components":[{"id":"powertrain","name":"Transmission and driveline","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"MAZDA","model":"CX-3","year_from":2018,"year_to":2018,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2018_mazda_cx-3"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MAZDA3","year_from":2017,"year_to":2018,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2017_mazda_mazda3","2018_mazda_mazda3"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MAZDA6","year_from":2017,"year_to":2017,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2017_mazda_mazda6"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
