Each tire (except the spare tire) has a tire pressure warning valve/sensor that measures tire pressure data. The data is transmitted to the Tire Pressure Warning System antenna/receiver and then to the Tire Pressure Warning System ECU. During Pre-Delivery Service (PDS), the tire pressure warning valves/sensors must be activated for Japan-built vehicles by following the activation procedure in this bulletin. NAP-built vehicles do NOT require activation, but both Japan-built (VINs start with ?J?) and NAP-built (VINs start with ?2?) vehicles require the TPWS to be initialized by following the initialization procedure in this bulletin.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2013/MC-10132255-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2013/MC-10132255-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10132255","components":[{"id":"tires","name":"Tires","parent":null},{"id":"tpms","name":"Tire pressure monitoring","parent":"tires"}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"LEXUS","model":"RX HYBRID","year_from":2014,"year_to":2014,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"LEXUS","model":"RX350","year_from":2014,"year_to":2014,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
