Non-approved washer fluids leave a clear film coating on the sensor probes, insulating the probes so they cannot read the fluid level. This This document informs Validate the washer reservoir is full with the proper washer solvent. Refer to Elsa for proper fluid type and fluid quantities under repair manual, maintenance, fluid capacity table. Non-approved fluids can cause residues to form on the sensor which causes the washer fluid lamp to remain on when reservoir is full.
