The operation of the level sensor relies on the composition of the solvent to provide an accurate message on the solvent level. Incorrect concentration and the presence of additives can contaminate the sensor and reduce its sensitivity. This document discusses the diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10122151-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10122151-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10122151","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"BEETLE","year_from":2011,"year_to":2011,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"BEETLE","year_from":2012,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2012_volkswagen_beetle","2013_volkswagen_beetle","2014_volkswagen_beetle","2015_volkswagen_beetle"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"BEETLE CONVERTIBLE","year_from":2012,"year_to":2015,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2012_volkswagen_beetle","2013_volkswagen_beetle","2014_volkswagen_beetle","2015_volkswagen_beetle"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"CC","year_from":2011,"year_to":2011,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"CC","year_from":2012,"year_to":2012,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2012_volkswagen_cc"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"CC","year_from":2013,"year_to":2013,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"CC","year_from":2014,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2014_volkswagen_cc","2015_volkswagen_cc"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"EOS","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_eos","2012_volkswagen_eos","2013_volkswagen_eos","2014_volkswagen_eos","2015_volkswagen_eos"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"GOLF","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_golf","2012_volkswagen_golf","2013_volkswagen_golf","2014_volkswagen_golf","2015_volkswagen_golf"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"GOLF R","year_from":2014,"year_to":2015,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2014_volkswagen_golf","2015_volkswagen_golf"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"GOLF SPORTWAGEN","year_from":2015,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2015_volkswagen_golf-sportwagen"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"GTI","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_gti","2012_volkswagen_gti","2013_volkswagen_gti","2014_volkswagen_gti","2015_volkswagen_gti"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"JETTA","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_jetta","2012_volkswagen_jetta","2013_volkswagen_jetta","2014_volkswagen_jetta","2015_volkswagen_jetta"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"JETTA SPORTWAGEN","year_from":2011,"year_to":2014,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_jetta-sportwagen","2012_volkswagen_jetta-sportwagen","2013_volkswagen_jetta-sportwagen","2014_volkswagen_jetta-sportwagen"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"PASSAT","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_passat","2012_volkswagen_passat","2013_volkswagen_passat","2014_volkswagen_passat","2015_volkswagen_passat"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"TIGUAN","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_tiguan","2012_volkswagen_tiguan","2013_volkswagen_tiguan","2014_volkswagen_tiguan","2015_volkswagen_tiguan"]},{"make":"VOLKSWAGEN","model":"TOUAREG","year_from":2011,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_volkswagen_touareg","2012_volkswagen_touareg","2013_volkswagen_touareg","2014_volkswagen_touareg","2015_volkswagen_touareg"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
