If door is jammed or locked closed, this may be due to the door spring not being properly positioned when the door is installed. Do not try to force the door open as this may cause damage to the door or interfacing components. Remove the floor console rear end cap and dislodge the door by pushing it from the back side of the end cap. Reinstall the end cap and door.
