Depending on howmuch water has leaked in, the water may not be able to drain away quickly enough through the water drain valves provided for this purpose. As a result, there is a possibility that the air cleaner will age prematurely because of the increased wet and dry phases. This can cause reduced filter throughput and the customer may notice reduced engine power as a result.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10117439-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10117439-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10117439","components":[{"id":"structure-body","name":"Body and frame","parent":null},{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"PORSCHE","model":"911 CARRERA","year_from":2014,"year_to":2014,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2014_porsche_911"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
