Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0AA6 and/ or a P1F0E set on 2011-2013 Volt or a P0DAA on 2014 Volt or Cadillac ELR in the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2. Technician will need to inspect the Hybrid/EV Battery Pack drain plug, located on the battery tray, regardless of fluid level at the Hybrid/EV Battery Pack coolant reservoir. If any moisture is found during the drain plug inspection, contact the General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance. If the coolant level in cooling system is at the proper level and there is no moisture in the battery during the drain plug inspection, and the coolant freeze protection is between -10 and -40 degrees Fahrenheit, then update the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module2 and Battery Energy Control Module with the latest Calibrations in TIS-2-Web. Technician will need to gather all measurements recorded while evaluating Diagnostic Trouble Code P0AA6 and contact the GM Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10114666-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2015/MC-10114666-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10114666","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null},{"id":"powertrain","name":"Transmission and driveline","parent":null},{"id":"battery","name":"12-volt battery","parent":"electrical"},{"id":"automatic-transmission","name":"Automatic transmission","parent":"powertrain"},{"id":"transmission-control-module","name":"Transmission control module","parent":"powertrain"}],"codes":["P0AA6","P0DAA","P1F0E"],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"CADILLAC","model":"ELR","year_from":2014,"year_to":2014,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2014_cadillac_elr"]},{"make":"CHEVROLET","model":"VOLT","year_from":2011,"year_to":2014,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_chevrolet_volt","2012_chevrolet_volt","2013_chevrolet_volt","2014_chevrolet_volt"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
