An issue with the Head Up Display image may not appear clear can be caused by a non-original equipment manufacturer windshield installed. Another issue that may be present with the Head Up Display is the segments illuminate intermittently this can be caused by the ambient lighting conditions. A poor or hazy Head Up Display image can be caused by Instrument Panel emit fumes that cause a film to form on the HUD lens.
