There is the possibility that an implausible oil pressure will be measured and stored in the DME control unit after switching off the engine on the affected vehicles. As a result, this can cause the oil pressure warning light to be activated unnecessarily in the instrument cluster the next time the engine is started. To remedy the situation, re-program the DME control unit using a modified data record.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2012/MC-10109291-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2012/MC-10109291-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10109291","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null},{"id":"instrument-cluster","name":"Instrument cluster","parent":"electrical"}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"PORSCHE","model":"911 GT3","year_from":2010,"year_to":2012,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2010_porsche_911","2011_porsche_911","2012_porsche_911"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
