The transmission oil/water emulsion created as a result of this is deposited on the inner contacts of the multiple plug connection for the PDK transmission and causes electric shunt circuits there. If this happens, the PDK transmission can malfunction, e.g. switch to the reduced driving program (limp-home mode).","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2013/MC-10109278-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2013/MC-10109278-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10109278","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"powertrain","name":"Transmission and driveline","parent":null},{"id":"automatic-transmission","name":"Automatic transmission","parent":"powertrain"}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"PORSCHE","model":"911 CARRERA","year_from":2013,"year_to":2014,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2013_porsche_911","2014_porsche_911"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
