This system takes over after the user gently closes the door. The soft close system will then automatically close the door, making it secure. This system is limited to 25 cycles between each ignition cycle. This is to prevent the vehicle battery from losing charge. The system also does not work if the vehicle battery charge is low or in transportation mode. Do not attempt any repairs for these conditions.
