# Transport Canada recall 2026251 A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups. - Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\) - Campaign number: 2026251 - Manufacturer's number: HQ62\-70/AM96\-AN00 - Reported: 2026\-05\-21 - Component: Seats And Restraints - Notification type: Safety Mfr - Units potentially affected: 12371 ## What is wrong Issue: On certain vehicles, the weight sensor for the front passenger seat may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the passenger\-front airbag and knee airbag could deploy in a crash that doesn't require them to. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024\-059. If the weight sensor fails, the SRS warning light would turn on in the instrument panel. Safety Risk: An airbag system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the passenger\-front seat weight sensor. ## Vehicles this campaign lists - [2017 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2017/recalls.md) - [2018 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2020/recalls.md) - [2022 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 ACURA MDX](/makes/acura/mdx/2024/recalls.md) - [2021 ACURA RDX](/makes/acura/rdx/2021/recalls.md) - [2018 ACURA TLX](/makes/acura/tlx/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 ACURA TLX](/makes/acura/tlx/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 ACURA TLX](/makes/acura/tlx/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 ACURA TLX](/makes/acura/tlx/2021/recalls.md) - [2018 HONDA ACCORD](/makes/honda/accord/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA ACCORD](/makes/honda/accord/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA ACCORD](/makes/honda/accord/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA ACCORD](/makes/honda/accord/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 HONDA ACCORD](/makes/honda/accord/2022/recalls.md) - [2016 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2016/recalls.md) - [2017 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2017/recalls.md) - [2018 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 HONDA CIVIC](/makes/honda/civic/2022/recalls.md) - [2017 HONDA CR\-V](/makes/honda/cr-v/2017/recalls.md) - [2018 HONDA CR\-V](/makes/honda/cr-v/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA CR\-V](/makes/honda/cr-v/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA CR\-V](/makes/honda/cr-v/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA CR\-V](/makes/honda/cr-v/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 HONDA CR\-V](/makes/honda/cr-v/2022/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA HR\-V](/makes/honda/hr-v/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA HR\-V](/makes/honda/hr-v/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA HR\-V](/makes/honda/hr-v/2021/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA INSIGHT](/makes/honda/insight/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA INSIGHT](/makes/honda/insight/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA INSIGHT](/makes/honda/insight/2021/recalls.md) - [2018 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2024/recalls.md) - [2025 HONDA ODYSSEY](/makes/honda/odyssey/2025/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA PASSPORT](/makes/honda/passport/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA PASSPORT](/makes/honda/passport/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA PASSPORT](/makes/honda/passport/2021/recalls.md) - [2018 HONDA PILOT](/makes/honda/pilot/2018/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA PILOT](/makes/honda/pilot/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA PILOT](/makes/honda/pilot/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA PILOT](/makes/honda/pilot/2021/recalls.md) - [2019 HONDA RIDGELINE](/makes/honda/ridgeline/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 HONDA RIDGELINE](/makes/honda/ridgeline/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 HONDA RIDGELINE](/makes/honda/ridgeline/2021/recalls.md) ## Bulletins for the same vehicles and component A bulletin is the manufacturer's note to its dealers.
