## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Mercedes\-Benz dealer during Transport Canada recall nos. 2025\-041 or 2025\-527 may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required.

On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high\-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit.

Safety Risk:

A short circuit in the high\-voltage battery can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.

Corrective Actions:

To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes\-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% and that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the high\-voltage battery.
