## What is wrong

Issue:

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the passenger\-front airbag to deploy with too much force.

Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with the AT4X AEV \(American Expedition Vehicle\) option.

Safety Risk:

An airbag that inflates with too much force could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions:

General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the airbag sensing and diagnostic module \(SDM\) software.
