What is wrong
Issue:
On certain vehicles, the optional off-road light bar installed during service may not have been attached properly. As a result, the light bar could loosen and detach from the vehicle.
Safety Risk:
A light bar that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Tesla will notify owners by email and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange for an inspection of the off-road light bar. Tesla Service will add additional fasteners to secure the light bar or, if necessary, replace the light bar and ensure that it's properly secured.
