# Transport Canada recall 2025360 A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups. - Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\) - Campaign number: 2025360 - Manufacturer's number: 25S72 - Reported: 2025\-06\-27 - Component: Visual System - Notification type: Safety Mfr - Units potentially affected: 16575 ## What is wrong Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the SYNC software. ## Vehicles this campaign lists - [2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT](/makes/ford/bronco-sport/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD BRONCO SPORT](/makes/ford/bronco-sport/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD BRONCO SPORT](/makes/ford/bronco-sport/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD BRONCO SPORT](/makes/ford/bronco-sport/2024/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD ECOSPORT](/makes/ford/ecosport/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 FORD ECOSPORT](/makes/ford/ecosport/2021/recalls.md) - [2019 FORD EDGE](/makes/ford/edge/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD EDGE](/makes/ford/edge/2020/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD ESCAPE](/makes/ford/escape/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 FORD ESCAPE](/makes/ford/escape/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD ESCAPE](/makes/ford/escape/2022/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD EXPEDITION](/makes/ford/expedition/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 FORD EXPEDITION](/makes/ford/expedition/2021/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD EXPLORER](/makes/ford/explorer/2020/recalls.md) - [2021 FORD EXPLORER](/makes/ford/explorer/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD EXPLORER](/makes/ford/explorer/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD EXPLORER](/makes/ford/explorer/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD EXPLORER](/makes/ford/explorer/2024/recalls.md) - [2019 FORD F\-150](/makes/ford/f-150/2019/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD F\-150](/makes/ford/f-150/2020/recalls.md) - [2020 FORD F\-250 SUPER DUTY](/makes/ford/f-250/2020/recalls.md).
