- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2025354
- Manufacturer's number: 49C
- Reported: 2025\-06\-24
- Component: Heater And Defroster
- Notification type: Compliance Mfr
- Units potentially affected: 180

## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the connector for the blower motor may have been damaged. As a result, the connector could fail and could cause the windshield defrost system not to work properly. This could cause the vehicles not to meet the requirements of Canadian regulations.

Note: This recall affects both the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models.

Safety Risk:

A windshield defroster that doesn't work may cause reduced visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the blower motor assembly.
