## What is wrong

Issue:

Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause a loss of brakes.

Safety Risk:

A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

To reduce the safety risk, Polestar recommends not to use the "One Pedal Drive" drive mode until the recall repairs are completed. Polestar will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update for the brake control module software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Polestar dealership.
