# Transport Canada recall 2025260 A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups. - Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\) - Campaign number: 2025260 - Manufacturer's number: 25S49 - Reported: 2025\-05\-09 - Component: Visual System - Notification type: Safety Mfr - Units potentially affected: 159135 ## What is wrong Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display or to freeze when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over\-the\-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the SYNC software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership. ## Vehicles this campaign lists - [2021 FORD BRONCO](/makes/ford/bronco/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD BRONCO](/makes/ford/bronco/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD BRONCO](/makes/ford/bronco/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD BRONCO](/makes/ford/bronco/2024/recalls.md) - [2021 FORD EDGE](/makes/ford/edge/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD EDGE](/makes/ford/edge/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD EDGE](/makes/ford/edge/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD EDGE](/makes/ford/edge/2024/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD ESCAPE](/makes/ford/escape/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD ESCAPE](/makes/ford/escape/2024/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD EXPEDITION](/makes/ford/expedition/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD EXPEDITION](/makes/ford/expedition/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD EXPEDITION](/makes/ford/expedition/2024/recalls.md) - [2021 FORD F\-150](/makes/ford/f-150/2021/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD F\-150](/makes/ford/f-150/2022/recalls.md) - [2023 FORD F\-150](/makes/ford/f-150/2023/recalls.md) - [2024 FORD F\-150](/makes/ford/f-150/2024/recalls.md) - [2022 FORD F\-250 SUPER DUTY](/makes/ford/f-250/2022/recalls.md).
