## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the electronic stability control \(ESC\) system not to work. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.

Note: This problem would cause warning lights for the antilock braking system \(ABS\), ESC, adaptive cruise control \(ACC\), and forward collision warning \(FCW\) to appear on the instrument panel.

Safety Risk:

An electronic stability control system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the antilock braking system \(ABS\) control module software.
