## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the backlight for the instrument cluster display not to work. As a result, warnings, tell\-tales and gauges may not display properly.

Note: This recall only affects Maverick hybrid models.

Safety Risk:

Safety warnings, tell\-tales and gauges that don't display properly could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster software.
