## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the bolt for the 48 V ground connection may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt.

Safety Risk:

Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions:

Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the ground connection.
