- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2023485
- Manufacturer's number: WRM\-23
- Reported: 2023\-08\-31
- Component: Lights And Instruments
- Notification type: Safety TC
- Units potentially affected: 581

## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the rear turn signals may not work if a bright light \(such as bright sunlight\) shines directly on them.

Safety Risk:

Turn signals that don't work properly may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. Hazard lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible. Both could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace both rear combination lamp assemblies.
