- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2023283
- Manufacturer's number: 63A
- Reported: 2023\-05\-12
- Component: Visual System
- Notification type: Compliance Mfr
- Units potentially affected: 712

## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles equipped with a trailer reverse steering module \(TRSCM\), the rearview camera image may not appear on the display when backing\-up. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear.

Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall 2023\-047.

Safety Risk:

A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action:

FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the trailer reverse steering control module software.
