- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2022728
- Manufacturer's number: R0229 \(21D184\)
- Reported: 2022\-12\-16
- Component: Electrical
- Notification type: Safety Mfr
- Units potentially affected: 1350

## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain electric vehicles, the electric power control unit \(EPCU\) may not be sealed correctly. As a result, coolant could leak inside the EPCU and onto the circuit board. If this happens, the vehicle could suddenly lose power to the wheels.

Safety Risk:

A sudden loss of power to the wheels may increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action:

Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the EPCU.
