## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the side\-impact sensors may not be secured correctly. As a result, the side airbags may not work properly in a side\-impact crash.

Note: This recall only affects 4\-door models.

Safety Risk:

An airbag that does not work properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions:

Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, secure the driver and passenger side\-impact sensors.
