## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the 12 V battery \(in the trunk\) could move in a crash. As a result, the battery electrical connexions could detach. If this happens, the post\-crash safety systems \(like the emergency calling \(eCall\) system, electric seat adjustment, hazard warning lights, and automatic door unlocking\) may not work.

Safety Risk:

Safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:

Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to add a bracket to better secure the battery.
