## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control \(ACC\), there could be a problem with the front radar module. As a result, your vehicle may follow another too closely when using adaptive cruise control. Also, the pre\-collision assist \(PCA\) system might not detect a possible crash and the application of automatic emergency braking \(AEB\) may be delayed.

Safety Risk:

Following too closely behind another vehicle could increase the risk of a crash. An automatic emergency braking \(AEB\) system that doesn't work properly may not reduce the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to adjust the angle of the cruise control radar module.
