## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain motorcycles, the seat base could crack near the hand\-hold. If this happens, the hand\-hold could detach from the motorcycle.

Safety Risk:

A hand\-hold that detaches while a passenger is using it could create a risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:

Harley\-Davidson will notify owners by mail and advise you to arrange service with an authorized Harley\-Davidson dealer, who will replace the seat base. Harley\-Davidson recommends that you should not use the hand\-holds until the recall repairs are completed.
