- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2021672
- Manufacturer's number: 19Q4
- Reported: 2021\-11\-03
- Component: Brakes
- Notification type: Safety Mfr
- Units potentially affected: 300

## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the brake pipe nut at the right\-front wheel well may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the nut could loosen and create a brake fluid leak. If this happens, there could be a partial loss of braking and the brake warning lamp may turn on.

Safety Risk:

Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, tighten the right\-front brake pipe nut.
