## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain trucks, the bracket for the bed step could break if too much side\-load is applied to it. If this happens, the step could fail when it is used.

Safety Risk:

A bed step that breaks could create a risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:

FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the bed step support brace. New trucks that have not been sold will have the bed step removed and re\-installed once the replacement parts are available.
