## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the connection between the turbocharger and the diesel particulate filter could leak. This could cause hot exhaust to leak into the engine compartment. As a result, nearby parts \(like the oil separator\) could be damaged.

Safety Risk:

An exhaust leak in the engine compartment could damage other parts and create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions:

Mercedes\-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the flange seals between the turbocharger and diesel particulate filter.
