## What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, the heating, ventilating and air conditioning \(HVAC\) blower motor may have been built incorrectly. This could result in a short circuit.

Safety Risk:

A short circuit could cause overheating, melting, smoke, and create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions:

Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer for an inspection. The HVAC blower motor will be replaced as necessary.
