What is wrong
On certain convertible cars, the lower universal anchorage system for attaching child safety or booster seats may have been installed incorrectly. In the event of a crash, this could cause the lower anchorage (and an attached child seat) to detach from the car body, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the lower universal anchorage system if necessary.
Note: Child seats should only be installed using the seat belts in accordance with the owner’s manual and child seat manufacturer’s installation instructions until the recall is performed.
