- Published by: Transport Canada \(Canada\)
- Campaign number: 2017575
- Manufacturer's number: T70
- Reported: 2017\-11\-22
- Component: Lights And Instruments
- Notification type: Safety Mfr
- Units potentially affected: 2469

## What is wrong

Certain vehicles may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(CMVSS 101\) – Location and Identification of Controls and Displays. The photo\-sensor calibration of the instrument cluster panel may not detect day\-to\-night lighting transition correctly. This could prevent the instrument cluster panel from providing backlighting with at least two levels of brightness contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: Dealers will update the instrument cluster panel software with new photo\-sensor calibrations as necessary.
