What is wrong

Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts. During vehicle assembly, an outer seat belt position seat belt tongue may have been incorrectly installed onto the third row seating centre seat belt assembly. This would result in the seat belt tongue not latching when inserted in the centre seat belt buckle, and therefore would be non-compliant with the standard. In the event of a crash, an unlatched seatbelt may increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will inspect the third row centre seat belt for the correct tongue and replace as necessary.

A17090B2017-10-05. Service bulletin. Servicenews article - Because of the higher center console that comes in the 2018 Odyssey, we needed to change the driver?s seat armrest ergonomics to reduce contact between the armrest and the center console with the driver?s seat lowered as far as it will go. As a result, some customers may find the driver?s seat armrest isn?t as comfortable as they would like in its fully lowered position.

A bulletin is the manufacturer's note to its dealers. It is not part of this recall.
