## What is wrong

Certain vehicles equipped with an anti\-lock brake system \(ABS\) and without electronic stability control \(ESC\) may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard \(CMVSS\) 105 \- Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems. The brake system indicator tell\-tale may not illuminate during the lamp function check when the ignition is initially turned to the “ON” \(run\) position, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: Dealers will correct the coding of the instrument cluster software.
